Field mission to Eswatini

Between the 14th and the 25th of July 2025 a delegation from MACH, University of Milan, visited Eswatini as part of our ongoing operational research project to improve cervical cancer prevention in low-resource settings.

During the mission, research fellows Paola Angelone, Leandro Baldi and Clara Fappani met project partners and relevant stakeholders, including representatives from Cabrini Ministries, the Ministry of Health, and the National Cancer Control Programme.

The visit aimed to consolidate and share preliminary project results, as well as explore venues for potential partnerships with the Ministry of Health and the National Cancer Control Programme to plan interventions to expand the HPV screening and vaccination programme in the country.
